foonie is based in Toronto, ON, and offers locally designed and produced greeting cards, stickers, and other printed goods inspired by the wonders of nature and the beauty of the smallest, simplest things in daily life. foonie’s cards and goods are made to connect families, friends and communities.

Japanese Canadian artist Saya Oiwa expresses relatable and heartwarming feelings through whimsical, magical, tiny characters such as Mr. Croissant, Happy Frog, Cherry Soulmates, Grumpy Cat, and so on.

In 2021, Saya founded foonie in Vancouver BC with just three greeting card designs for the local communities of the Fraser Valley. foonie shifted its base to Montreal in early 2022 and then to Toronto in late 2024 to meet the local craft lovers and be a part of the beautiful art scene, as well as to keep growing and glowing up! Now, foonie’s products are gifted and loved by thousands of stationery lovers across Canada each year!
